Giving Tuesday is a global movement, but you can be a part of it right here in your own community! Giving Tuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Considered to be the “Opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. In the same way that retailers take part in Black Friday, the giving community comes together for GivingTuesday.

Diane and her young son have recently taken the steps to start their journey of healing with the trauma-informed care provided by YWCA Edmonton’s Counselling Services. Lack of affordable therapy and mental health supports is the most significant mental health challenge facing our society. Our commitment to providing accessible care for any who need it means that all of our clients are able to get the crucial mental health supports they need, regardless of any socioeconomic barriers they may be facing.
