Sam Brooks

Sam Brooks is a producer, photographer and videographer with roots in journalism and engineering. By day, he produces Real Talk with Ryan Jespersen and previously co-founded Full Circle Visuals, a production company dedicated to experimentation and immersive entertainment. Having a diverse background of arts, journalism and management has influenced a career dedicated to blending technology and storytelling.

Producing ‘Searching For Izena’ has been an exciting journey for Sam because it fits perfectly between his love of his hometown and shedding light on strange and compelling untold stories. When he’s not working on a media project, you can probably find Sam on his bicycle in the river valley, on a pair of skis in the mountains or in the stands at a CFL game. He lives with his partner Kelley and dog Sophie in Edmonton, Alberta.

Senator Paula Simons once called him “An engineer who ran away to join the media circus!” She was not wrong.
